Purapet is a small family business on the Sunshine Coast, built around one simple idea — finding natural, quality products for your dog shouldn't be hard.

Hi, I'm Tracey,

Like a lot of dog mums, I treat my Miniature Labradoodle Harley like family.

So when it came to buying him treats and toys, I wanted to know exactly what I was getting.

Clean ingredients, quality products, nothing I'd have to second-guess.

What I kept finding instead was cheap imports, confusing labels and products that looked good on the outside but didn't hold up when I read what was in them.

I also wanted somewhere to turn when I needed a genuinely thoughtful gift for a friend with a dog.

Something considered and beautiful — not a generic pet store purchase grabbed on the way. That option didn't really exist either.

So in 2025 I decided to create it.

A family business

Purapet is run from our home on the Sunshine Coast by me, my husband and our two daughters. We are not a big operation and we never want to be the kind of brand that feels like one. Every box that goes out has been thought about carefully, and that's only possible because it's us doing it.

Local and considered

We work with Australian suppliers wherever we can. Keeping things local matters to me, both for quality and because I want to support small, considered businesses that share our values.

My one simple rule

If I wouldn't give it to Harley, it doesn't go in the box. That means natural ingredients, no artificial preservatives, no fillers and nothing I can't explain. Every product is chosen because it's genuinely good, not because it was cheap or easy to source. I do the research so you don't have to.

Why it matters

Dogs are so good to us. Loyal, joyful and completely present in a way that most of us are still working on. I genuinely believe they deserve the best we can give them, and finding that shouldn't be hard. Purapet exists for dog owners who feel the same way.
